Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Torque wrench (V.A.G 1783)

• The description applies to the left side. The right side is similar.

Removing

- Remove front bumper cover. Refer to=> [ Front Bumper Cover ] Front Bumper Cover.

- Remove front section and rear section of wheel housing liner. Refer to=> [ Front Wheel Housing Liner ] Front Wheel Housing Liner.

- Unscrew guide profile.

- Remove hex nut - 6 - and bolts - 2 -.

- Pull out foam piece - 3 - between fender and longitudinal member and remove fender - 1 -.





Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

• Make sure gaps are parallel and pay attention to gap dimensions.
