Removal and Replacement

Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface J533

The data bus on board diagnostic interface is located in the right side of the driver footwell near the steering column.

Removing

• If Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface is to be replaced, the work procedure to read out the codes stored in the module must always be performed. Refer to => [ Replacing ] Replacing.

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and move the ignition key or start button into the 0 position (preliminary engaged position).

- Remove the cover in the footwell on the driver side.

- Disengage harness connector - 1 - and disconnect it from Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface - 2 -.






- Press mounting pins - 3 - together - arrows - and out of holes.

- Remove Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface from vehicle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
