Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533)

The data bus on board diagnostic interface is clipped into the heater bracket inside the footwell on the driver side.

Removing

• If data bus on board diagnostic interface is to be replaced, the work procedure => [ Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533), Replace ] Programming and Relearning to read out the codes stored in the module must always be performed.

- Turn off the ignition and all electric consumers and remove the key.

- Remove the footwell vent on the driver side.

- Disconnect the connector - 1 -.






- Press the mounting pins - 3 - in - direction of arrow - together and pull the Data bus on board diagnostic interface - 2 - out of the holes.

- Remove Data bus on board diagnostic interface from vehicle.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
