Blower Motor Resistor: Service and Repair






Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor with Fuse (N24)

Contact with a hot exhaust system can cause severe burns.

Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse may be hot.

Let Fresh Air Blower Series Resistor With Fuse cool off before removing.

• The fresh air blower series resistor with fuse is only installed on vehicles with manual climate control system.

Removing

- Remove the plastic screws - 2 - and the front passenger side footwell trim panel- 1 -.






- Disconnect the connector - 1 - from the fresh air blower series resistor with fuse - 2 -.

- Push the retainer in the - direction of the arrow A - and slide the fresh air blower series resistor with fuse - 2 - in the - direction of the arrow B -.

- Remove the fresh air blower series resistor with fuse - 2 - from the heater and A/C unit - 3 -.






Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Install the footwell trim panel for the front passenger side.
