Secondary Air Injection Pump Motor (V101)

Removing

Note the following whenever working inside the engine compartment due to limited space:

• Route all lines and wires in their original locations.

• Ensure sufficient clearance to all moving or hot components.

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Disconnect connectors - 1 and 2 -.






- Press out the clip - 3 - for the wire guide.

- Press out the wire clip at the top front bolt.

- Disconnect the pressure hose - 1 - and intake hose - 2 -. To do so, compress the securing ring.






- Remove the nuts and remove the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump motor upward. When doing this, press the lower rubber bushing slightly in order to get by at the transmission.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. When doing this note the following:

• Make sure that pressure pipe and intake hose lock securely to AIR pump motor.
