Steering Column Combination Switch (E595), Valeo

Follow the specified sequence when removing and installing steering column switch components. Refer to => [ Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence ] Steering Column Switch Components, Removal and Installation Sequence.

Removing

- Remove the steering wheel.

- Remove the trim from the steering column.

- Remove the steering column electronic systems control module (J527). Refer to => [ Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527), Valeo ] Steering Column Electronic Systems Control Module (J527), Valeo.






- Open the 3 latching mechanisms - arrows - and remove the complete steering column combination switch (E595) - 2 - straight backward from the steering column switch mount.

Installing

- Slide the steering column combination switch straight onto the guides on the steering column switch mount until it locks in place.

- Install all components accordingly in the reverse order.
