Checking the activation signal from the central locking relay- Ignition off.
- Reconnect central locking relay (item D/G).
- Deactivate with the remote or with the door key (not in certain markets).
- Connect a voltmeter between ground and the alarm relay base item AL. The voltmeter should show less than 1 V.
If the reading is correct:
- Proceed to activate the alarm.
If there is a deviation:
The central locking relay is faulty.
- Renew the central locking relay.
Replace the alarm control module.
- Activate the alarm with the remote or with the door key (not in some markets).
- Connect a voltmeter between ground and the alarm relay base item AL. The voltmeter should show a minimum of 4 V.
If the reading is correct:
There is most likely a fault on the alarm control module.

If there is a deviation:
There is a fault on the central locking relay.
- Renew the central locking relay.
Replace the alarm control module.
