Checking Switch





- Ignition off.
- Connect switch connector.
- Ignition on.
- Set TRACS switch to off.

Connect a voltmeter between switch connector terminals 1 and 5.

Voltmeter should read approx. 1.5 V under battery voltage.

- Set switch to on.

Voltmeter should now read approx. 0 V.

If voltmeter reading changes:
- Fault was due to poor contact in switch connector.

If voltmeter reading does not change:
- Try another switch.
