Mode 2
- Gear selector in Neutral.
Activate Mode 2 according to D. Troubleshooting via the diagnostic socket.
^ Continue with Checking the starting detent HE2.

Checking the starting detent
- Move the gear selector to D.
The diagnostic system should respond with code 1-2-4.

If a code is received:
^ Return to A. Troubleshooting Layout.

If a code is not received:
^ Connection of measurement box HE3.

Connection of measurement box
Connect the measurement box to Regina and check the chassis connections according to N1-N2. N. Measurement Box, Signal Description
^ Continue with Checking of start detent resistance HE4.

Checking of start detent resistance
- Ignition off.
Connect an ohmmeter between #30 and #5 (ground).
Values according to the table.

If the value is OK:
^ Checking the signal from start detent HE5.

If any of the values differs:
^ Check the wires in the circuit for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring

Checking of signal from start detent
- Connect the control unit to the measurement box.
- Insert fuse no.1.
- Ignition on.
Connect a voltmeter between #30 and #5 (ground).
Values according to the table on the previous image.

If the value Is OK:
^ Repeat Checking function 2 HE1.

If any value different:
^ Check the wires in the circuit for breakage according to CD. CD. Checking of Wiring
