C6 Verify Mechanical Locking Function

C6 Verify mechanical locking function for all central locking modules.




- Switch off ignition.




- Confirm that front doors and trunk/tailgate can be locked/unlocked using a key.




- Confirm that rear doors can be unlocked using the interior door handle.


NOTE Try the outer door handle as well (e.g. if child lock is activated in the rear doors).






All central locking modules can be operated manually.
- Continue to C7. C7 Verify Ground Cable to Central Locking Relay






If any of the central locking modules cannot be operated manually:
There is a mechanical fault in central locking module.
- Correct fault or install new central locking module.
