Panel boot gear selector, replacing

Removal

Removing the panel gear shift selector




Move the gear selector/gear selector lever to a rear position.
Detach the panel at the rear edge using a weatherstrip tool.
Then carefully detach the front edge of the panel.




Open the 4 catches on the underneath.
Press the inner section of the panel up and release the frame.

Caution! Do not lift/pull the boot to prevent damaging the seams.

Installation

Installing the cover panel gear shift selector
Press the catches for the boot into place in the top panel.
Align the panel at the front edge, bend the panel down and press the panel into the center console.
