Front Fender: Service and Repair

Removal

Removing the front fender





Remove:
- the fender liner
- the foam seal at the rear edge.
Fold down the bumper at (1).
Remove the 2 screws holding the front fender under the bumper.
Fold down the front part of the plastic sill (2).
Slacken off the 6 remaining M6 screws for the front fender. See the illustration.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. [1][2]Body and Frame

Installing the front fender
Install the front fender. Start by aligning the rear edge. Then align it with the hood.
Tighten the 8 M6 screws.

Install:
- the foam seal
- the bumper
- the plastic sill
- the fender liner.
