Cruise Control Servo Cable: Adjustments

1. Ensure actuator cable is not binding and that it operates smoothly.
2. Start engine, then measure amount of actuator rod movement until cable pulls on accelerator lever or engine speed starts to increase. Freeplay should be 0.037-0.049 inches.
3. If freeplay is not as specified, loosen locknut and turn adjusting nut as required. It may be necessary to check throttle cable freeplay, then recheck actuator rod freeplay.
