Windshield Wiper Motor Replacement

1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Remove cap nuts and wiper arms.
3. Pry off air scoop trim clip, then remove air scoop.
4. Pry wiper linkage away from motor arm.
5. Remove wiper motor cover, then disconnect motor electrical connector.
6. Remove wiper motor attaching bolts and motor.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply suitable grease to joints and ensure linkages operate smoothly.
b. Torque wiper motor attaching bolts to 7 ft. lbs.
c. Torque wiper arm cap nut to 10 ft. lbs.
d. Following installation, ensure tips of wiper arms rest 0.8-1.2 inches from air scoop.
