Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

1. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
2. Remove steering wheel as described under Steering Wheel / Service and Repair.
3. Remove steering wheel lower cover.
4. On models equipped with cruise control, remove cruise control slip ring.
5. Remove turn signal cancelling sleeve.
6. Remove upper column holder, bending plate, bending plate base and bending plate guide.
7. Disconnect combination switch electrical connector.
8. Remove combination switch attaching screws and the switch.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
10. On models equipped with radio coded theft protection system, refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings for system disarming and arming procedures. On models equipped with airbag system, refer to Technician Safety Information for system disarming and arming procedures.
