Torque Specifications

Main Bearing Cap Tightening Sequence:

1. Crankshaft bearing cap bolts: 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.)





2. Oil gallery
- Tighten the bolts in 2 steps, in the order shown.
a. First tighten to 29 Nm (22 ft. lbs.)
b. Second tighten 55° - 65°





3. Crankcase side bolts
- Tighten all the bolts to 39 Nm (29 ft. lbs.) in the order shown.

NOTE: Do not apply engine oil to the crank case side bolts.
