Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

1. Remove the front console.
2. Disconnect the A/T gear position switch connector (12P) and the neutral switch connector (2P).
3. Remove the Apr gear position switch from the shift lever mounting bracket.
4. Position the switch slider of the new Apr gear position switch to [N] position.
5. Move the shift lever to [N] position, then install the Apr gear position switch while aligning the switch slider with the switch slider guide pin.
6. Test the Apr gear position switch.
7. Connect the connectors.
