Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Set the No. 1 piston is at TDC.
2. Remove the timing belt, refer to Timing Belt / Service and Repair.





3. Remove the Cylinder Position (CYP) sensor, then remove the camshaft pulley.





4. Remove the Crankshaft Speed Fluctuation (CKF) sensor.
5. Disconnect the TDC/CKP/CYP sensor connector and CKF sensor connector.





6. Remove the back cover, then remove the TDC/CKP sensor.
7. Install the TDC/CKP/CYP/CKF sensor in reverse order of removal.
- Refer to Timing Belt / Service and Repair when reinstalling the timing belt.
