Control Module: Service and Repair

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations, precautions, and procedures under Air Bags and Seat Belts before performing repairs or service.




1. Remove the glove box from the dashboard.




2. Remove the ABS control unit mounting bolts, and turn the ABS control unit over. Disconnect the radiator fan timer control unit connector.

NOTE: Do not disconnect the connectors from the ABS control unit.




3. Remove the control unit bracket, then remove the TCM. Disconnect the connectors and replace the TCM.
