Camshaft Gear/Sprocket
Camshaft Bearing Cap Torque and Tightening Sequence Torque Sequence:
Tighten each bolt two turns at a time in the sequence shown to insure that the rockers do not bind on the valves.
NOTE: Apply clean engine oil to 8 mm bolt threads.
Specified torque:
(1) 8 mm x 1.25 mm bolts: 22 Nm (2.2 kgs.cm, 16 ft. lbs.)
6 mm x 1.0 mm bolts: 9.8 Nm (1.0 kgs.cm, 7.2 ft. lbs.)
