Shift Solenoid: Service and Repair

Replacement

NOTE: Shift solenoid valves A and B must be replaced as an assembly.





1. Remove the shift solenoid valves A and B and A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve/throttle valve body from the lower valve body assembly.
2. Disconnect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve terminals.
3. Clean the mounting surfaces and fluid passages.





4. Connect the A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve terminal, then install the shift solenoid valves A and B and A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valve/throttle valve body on the lower valve body.
