Trunk / Liftgate Lock: Testing and Inspection
Trunk Lid Opener Solenoid/Latch Switch Test 1.
Open the trunk lid.
2.
Disconnect the 6P connector from the trunk latch.
3.
Check opener solenoid operation by connecting power and ground according to the table. To prevent damage to the solenoid, apply battery voltage only momentarily.
4.
Check for continuity between the terminals in each trunk lid position according to the table.
