Reverse Lock System Circuit Troubleshooting
1. Check whether DTC P0705 or P0706 is indicated.
Is either DTC indicated?
YES - Perform the troubleshooting for the indicated code.
NO - Go to step 2.

2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
3. Shift the shift lever to the P position while pushing the shift lock release.
4. Turn the ignition switch ON (II).
5. Press the brake pedal and release the accelerator pedal, shift the shift lever out of the P position, and check that the shift lock solenoid operates.
Does the shift lock solenoid work properly?
YES - Check the reverse lock (shift lock mechanism). If the mechanism does not work, repair or replace the shift lever assembly.
NO - Do the Shift Lock System Circuit Troubleshooting.
