Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair




Brake Pedal Replacement

1. Remove the driver's dashboard undercover. Driver's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation

2. Disconnect the brake pedal position switch connector (A).

3. Remove the lock pin (B) and the clevis pin (C).

4. Remove the brake pedal bracket mounting bolt (D) and nuts (E).

5. Remove the brake pedal with bracket (F).

6. Remove the brake pedal position switch (G) by turning it counterclockwise.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE: Use a new lock pin whenever installing the brake pedal.

8. Do the brake pedal and brake pedal position switch adjustment. Adjustments
