Trunk Lid Latch Switch Test

1. Open the trunk lid, and remove the trunk lid trim. Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Trunk Lid

2. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the trunk lid latch (B).

3. Check for continuity between terminals No. 3 and No. 1.
- There should be continuity with the trunk lid latch unlatched (trunk lid open).

- There should be no continuity with the trunk lid latch latched (trunk lid closed).

4. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the trunk lid latch switch.
