Seat Fan Switch: Service and Repair




Seat Ventilation Switch Test/Replacement

1. Remove the center console panel Center Console Panel Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the 16P [12P] connector from the seat ventilation switch (A).
[ ]: Front passenger's seat ventilation switch






3. Remove the two screws and the switch.

4. Check for continuity between terminals No. 16 [No. 12] (+) and No. 12 [No. 9] (-).
[ ]: Front passenger's seat ventilation switch

- There should be continuity when the HEAT switch is pressed.
- There should be no continuity when the HEAT switch is released.

5. Check for continuity between terminals No. 16 [No. 12] (+) and No. 13 [No. 8] (-).
[ ]: Front passenger's seat ventilation switch

- There should be continuity when the FAN switch is pressed.
- There should be no continuity when the FAN switch is released.

6. If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the seat ventilation switch.
