Transmission Mount: Service and Repair




Lower Transmission Mount Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the splash shield Splash Shield Replacement and the undercover Front Undercover Replacement.

2. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the transmission.

3. Remove the lower transmission mount mounting bolts (A).






4. Remove the lower transmission mount (B).

Installation

1. Install the lower transmission mount (A), then tighten the lower transmission mount mounting bolts (B).





2. Loosely install the lower transmission mount mounting bolt (C).

3. Remove the jack and the wood block.

4. Tighten the lower transmission mount mounting bolt.

5. Install the splash shield Splash Shield Replacement and the undercover Front Undercover Replacement.
