Console Armrest Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014
*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

- Take care not to scratch the console.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.

1. Remove the center console Center Console Removal/Installation.

2. Remove both console panels.

3. Release the hook (A) to separate the console armrest damper holder (B) from the console armrest hinge (C).






4. Remove the bolts, then remove the armrest rubber stoppers (A).






5. Release the E-clips (A), the inner bushings (B), the armrest springs (C), the armrest spring housings (D), the outer bushings (E), and the armrest hinge pins (F) from the console armrest (G).






6. Install the armrest in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips into place securely.
