Blower Unit Removal/Installation

1. Remove these items:

- Passenger's dashboard undercover Passenger's Dashboard Undercover Removal/Installation
- Passenger's dashboard trim Passenger's Dashboard Trim Removal/Installation
- Glove box Glove Box Removal/Installation
- Passenger's kick panel Service and Repair

2. Detach the harness clips (A). Remove the bolts, and the glove box frame (B).






3. Cut the plastic cross brace (A) in the glove box opening with diagonal cutters in the area shown. Retain the plastic cross brace to be reinstalled later.






4. Detach the wire harness clip (A), then remove the self-tapping screws, and the passenger's heater duct (B).






5. Disconnect blower motor connector (A) and climate control unit connectors (B), and detach the wire harness clips (C).






6. Remove the self-tapping screws and disconnect the recirculation control motor connector (A).






7. Disconnect the right engine compartment harness connector (C205) (A) and detach the harness clips (B). Remove the mounting nuts, and the blower unit (C).





8. Install the unit in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that there are no air leaks.
