Interior Lights (Roof Console) Input Test/Replacement

1. Turn the map light switch OFF.

2. Open the sunglass holder, then remove the two screws (A).





3. Carefully pull on the roof console (B) to disengage the two clips (C) from the roof.

4. Disconnect the 20P connector (D) from the roof console.

5. Inspect the connector and socket terminals to be sure they are all making good contact.

- If the terminals are bent, loose, or corroded, repair them as necessary, and recheck the system.
- If the terminals look OK, go to step 6.

6. With the connector still disconnected, do the following input tests:

- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, go to step 7.





7. Reconnect the connector to the roof console, and do the following input tests:

- If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause, then recheck the system.
- If all the input tests prove OK, the roof console must be faulty; replace it.
