Front Door Window Glass Weatherstrip: Service and Repair

Front Door Glass Outer Weatherstrip Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the door or the related parts.

1. Remove these items:

- Outer corner front door trim
- Front door glass Service and Repair

2. Release the front hook (A) from inside of the door, then pull up the front door glass outer weatherstrip (B).





3. Starting at the front, release the hooks (C) and detach the clips (D), then pull up the door glass outer weatherstrip from the front.

4. Release the rear hook (E) from inside of the door, then remove the weatherstrip.

5. Install the weatherstrip in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- When reinstalling the door panel, make sure the plastic cover is installed properly and sealed around its outside perimeter to seal out water.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
