Ventilated Seats Fan Motor Test

NOTE: SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations, and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or servicing.

1. Remove the driver's or front passenger's seat Front Seat Removal / Installation, then remove the seat-back cover Service and Repair.

2. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) from each fan motor (B).

3. Connect battery power to fan motor 3P connector terminal No. 3 and ground terminal No. 1.
The motor should run.

4. If the motor does not run or fails to run smoothly, replace the motor.

- Seat cushion motor.
- Seat-back motor.
