Water Passage Replacement

1. Do the battery removal procedure Removal and Replacement.

2. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose (A) and the lower radiator hose (B).





4. Disconnect the ECT sensor 1 connector (C) and the EGR valve connector (D).

5. Remove the ECT sensor 1.






6. Remove the EGR valve.






7. Remove the water bypass hoses (A) and the heater hoses (B).






8. Remove the EGR pipe.






9. Remove the water passage (A) and the connecting pipe (B).





10. Install the connecting pipe and the water passage with new gaskets (C) and new o-rings (D) in the reverse order of the removal.

11. Do the battery installation procedure.

12. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, and bleed the air from the cooling system Service and Repair.

13. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
