Wiper Motor Test

1. Open the hood, and remove the wiper arms Service and Repair.

NOTE: Carefully remove the wiper arms so that they do not touch the hood.

2. Remove the hood seal and cowl covers Service and Repair.

3. Disconnect the 5P connector (A) from the wiper motor (B).






4. Check motor operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.





5. Connect an analog ohmmeter between terminals No. 1 and No. 4, and run the motor at low or high speed. The ohmmeter should indicate continuity and no continuity alternately.

6. If the motor does not work as specified, replace the wiper motor Service and Repair.
