Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair




Cruise Control Combination Switch Test/Replacement

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locationsand precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or service.

1. Remove the driver's airbag Driver's Airbag Replacement.

2. Remove the steering trim Overhaul.

3. Remove the select/reset/information switch (A), then remove the cruise control combination switch (B).






4. Measure the resistance between cruise control combination switch 12P connector terminal No. 6 and No. 12 according to the table.

If there is no resistance in one or more positions, replace the cruise control combination switch.






5. Check for continuity between cruise control combination switch 12P connector terminal No. 3 and No. 9 according to the table.

If there is no continuity, replace the cruise control combination switch.






6. Install the cruise control combination switch in the reverse order of removal.
