Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Symptom Troubleshooting - ACC activation indicator does not go off

ACC activation indicator does not go off

1. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Testing and Inspection.

Is the gauge control module OK?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Substitute a known-good gauge control module, and recheck. If the problem goes away, replace the original gauge control module Service and Repair.

2. Remove the driver's airbag Driver's Airbag Replacement.

3. Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.






4. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode, then wait for 10 seconds.

5. Watch the ACC activation indicator.

Does the ACC activation indicator go off?

YES -

Test the ACC combination switch Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Combination Switch Test.

NO -

Repair a short to ground in the wire between the ACC combination switch and the gauge control module.
