When replacing a fuel injector, ALL other injectors must be checked for opening pressure and adjusted, if necessary, to 130 bar (normally aspirated engines) and 155 bar (turbo-Diesel engines).
Note
All NEW arid REBUILT injectors have a SETTLING effect of approx. 5 bar. Therefore, when installing these injectors in conjunction with (USED) injectors, the new/rebuilt injectors must have a 5 bar higher opening pressure.
Used injectors, which are good and have all opening pressure below 130 bar, can be adjusted as per instructions in the Repair Manual.
