Throttle Full Open Switch: Testing and Inspection

1. Install a protractor (tool 1098 or equivalent) to the secondary throttle shaft, and a pointer to the throttle housing.
2. Disconnect the electrical harness plug from the switch, and use an ohmmeter to find the switching point of the switch.
3. Open the throttle to the full throttle stop and zero the pointer.
4. Close the throttle about 30°, and then open slowly.
5. Throttle switch should trip at 12° +/- 2° before full throttle.
6. Adjust the switching point by adjusting the switch.
