Deceleration Fuel Shut-Off

TEST CONDITIONS
- engine oil temperature minimum 80°C (176°F)

WORK SEQUENCE

- remove connector from differential pressure regulator
- connect harness adapter VW 1315A/1 between connector and differential pressure regulator
- connect US 1119 to harness adapter VW 1315A/1 and switch US 1119 to DCA 200m
- start engine and raise speed above 2,000 rpm
- release throttle
- current should briefly go to negative value: -30mA to -60mA

It NO
- check idle switch signal at control unit

If OK
- replace control unit
