Subject: Injector Cooling Fan
Cause:

Reduced output from cooling fan due to incorrect polarity at fan electrical connector.


Production Change:

Not affected. Applies to injector cooling fan installation kit, P/N 443 998 219, (see Audi 5000 Protraining Update, page 54).


Service Solution:

Check polarity of wires at connector. Red/black wire is plus (+); brown wire is minus (-). Observe direction of fan rotation and check for sufficient air flow.
