Production:
The wheel bearing housing no longer has the groove for the circlip. A more rigid wheel bearing housing without groove for circlip is installed which holds the modified bearing with increased interference.

Service:
The new wheel-bearing housing P/N 443 412 023J/024J (5000) and 443 412 023K/024K (100/200) should be installed on all vehicles being repaired. Use the 82 mm wheel bearing.


Note:
If there is a groove in the wheel bearing housing to accommodate a circlip, a circlip must be installed.
