Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

The intake air temperature sensor is located in the intercooler outlet.
1. Push back the rubber cover on the air temp. sensor.
2. Cut wires off at the sensor.
3. Remove the sensor.
4. Remove the protective cover and install the new sensor.
5. Install the rubber insulator and protective cover over the wires.
6. Fit terminal lugs on bared wires and solder to the sensor contacts.
7. Push rubber insulator over soldered joints.
8. Push protective cover over sensor.
