Troubleshooting power window regulators
Note:
Safety switch with catch installed as of; VIN 44HA 076 190 and 44HN 074 704
Refer always to appropriate wiring diagram.
Test conditions
- Battery OK
- Rear window safety switch disengaged
- (With ignition on) control unit 'clicks' when drivers window switch activated
Tools required
- Multimeter US1119
- L.E.D. tester US1115
- Test adapter VW1594
- Test harness VW1315A
