TOE, ADJUST




5000 Models

1. Install centering tool 3076 or equivalent into steering unit and tie rod carrier alignment holes.
2. Measure and divide total toe measurement in half.
3. Loosen clamps and outer locknut on both tie rods.
4. Turn both tie rods until specified toe is obtained. Correct toe should be 1/12 to 5/12 of an inch.
5. Tighten clamp and locknuts on tie rods.
6. Check and position steering wheel in center position, if necessary.
7. Remove centering tool.




CAMBER, ADJUST

5000 Models

1. Loosen suspension strut bolts.
2. Install suitable socket wrench to suspension strut nut and move in slots to correct position.
3. Tighten nuts and check camber. If necessary, adjust camber to specification. Camber should be minus 1/6 to minus 5/6 inches.
