Recommended Octane Rating (R+M/2 method) [1] 91

[1] R+M/2 AKI (Anti-Knock Index) method of rating gasolines is displayed on the dispensing pumps of filling stations in the U.S.A.

NOTE: Audi discourages the use of gasolines blended with alcohol (gasohol). Audi recommends use of fuels with detergent additives designed for fuel injection systems. Some of the major brands which include these types of additives in their commercially available fuels are listed below.
