Low Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Refrigerant Low Pressure Switch:





CAUTION:
WEAR PROTECTIVE GLASSES AND GLOVES WHEN REMOVING THE A/C REFRIGERANT LOW PRESSURE SWITCH.

NOTE:
This switch can be removed without discharging the A/C refrigerant system.

INSTALLATION LOCATION
- On passenger side of vehicle between evaporator housing and firewall.

REMOVAL
- Remove close out panel under glove compartment.

Fuel Injection Control Unit:





- Remove fuel injection control unit.
- Remove A/C refrigerant low pressure switch.

INSTALLATION
- Install in reverse order of removal.
- Tightening Torque: 5 Nm (4.0 ft lb).
