Infrared Key Transmitter, Checking

- Use Radio Shack(R) infrared sensor, catalog no. 276-0099 (locally available), to check output signal of infrared key transmitter.
- Hold sensing patch directly in front infrared LED on key transmitter.
- Press key button down and release.
A quick flash of light should appear on sensor patch

If NOT:




- Check batteries -A- in key, replace if discharged.


NOTE: Do not press key button repeatedly or key code may be changed. If this occurs, infrared central locking will not operate and key will need to be recoded See owner's manual for proper coding sequence.
