1. On models equipped with airbags, disable airbag system, refer to MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ARMING & DISARMING.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove steering wheel, refer to Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair.
4. Loosen clamp inside steering column cover, Fig. 7, then pull cover forward and disconnect electrical connectors.
5. Remove combination switch.
6. Individual switches can be removed from combination switch by removing retaining screws.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
