Temperature Sensor

This system uses two interior temperature sensors.

INSTRUMENT PANEL SENSOR (G56)

1. Remove glove compartment. See procedure as follows:
a. Remove lower instrument panel cover at front passenger side footwell area.
b. Remove left lower cover bracket.
c. Open glove compartment.
d. Remove 2 screws at left side glove compartment edge.
e. Remove 2 screws at right side glove compartment edge.
f. Remove screw at top center (behind lock hook).
g. Press glove compartment toward center of vehicle, and remove downward.
h. Install in reverse of removal.

A/C Programmer:





2. Remove A/C programmer. See procedure as follows:
a. Remove center section of instrument panel.
b. Remove driver's side storage compartment.
c. Remove 2 screws A.
d. Separate wiring harness connector B.
e. Separate connector for vacuum hoses on heater, left.
f. Install in reverse of removal.

NOTE: Visually inspect all connectors before making connections.

3. Remove 2 screws E.
4. Remove hose C.
5. Remove temperature sensor.
6. Install in reverse of removal.

NOTE: Hose C must fit properly at time of installation.
