Cruise Control Switch: Service and Repair

REPLACE

NOTE: On air bag equipped vehicles, refer to "Air Bag Systems" for more information.

1. Vehicles with audio coded antitheft system refer to Radio/Stereo, Service Precautions. Service Precautions
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Remove steering wheel as outlined under "Steering Wheel, Service and Repair."
4. Loosen clamp inside steering column cover, Fig.8, then pull cover forward and disconnect electrical connectors.
5. Remove combination switch.
6. Individual switches can be removed from combination switch by removing retaining screws.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
